  1. I'm about 10 miles away and can hear absolutely nothing from it!
  2. Had about 3.25 minutes of extremely light drizzle, I could have spent time counting the individual splotches on the drive if they hadn't disappeared within seconds.
  3. Love to, but it's 10/10 grunge cover here, can't see diddly squat! Definitely not wasting precious diesel on the off chance of seeing something poking through a 30 mile stretch of murk.....
  4. The only thing on radar heading vaguely towards EA is a large blob of drizzle. Still, it's only 12.30pm. (bet I type that again at 16.30, 17.30, 18.30...)
  5. You have to laugh, just got pinged by an app that said "thunderstorms in your area now!" Which area would that be? Europe? The planet?

  7. Yep, me too, nothing better than enjoying warmth and sunshine - but it should be occasionally broken up with a jolly good storm and some refreshing rain!
  8. Dan's pretty much on the money most of the time! Now, do I try the old reverse psychology trick and not dig out the camera?
  9. Looking at Dan's forecast, he is saying that the action of pulse storms could cause the CZ to move over time, so there is a chance that the east of the region could see some rainfall, albeit very hit and miss and not actually doing much good!
  10. The downside of being an island with a strong Atlantic influence! Now, if we were part of the Balearics, September would be rather special...
  11. Nice light show in Florence. https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/italy/tuscany/florence-centre.html
  12. If anyone's desperate... https://www.webcamtaxi.com/en/italy/tuscany/florence-centre.html
  13. I was almost knocked unconscious by a single fat solitary raindrop just now!
  14. I happily kill to hear that, none of your stupid little cloud farts that pass for thunder in the UK!
  15. Well, the local 16 day forecast has just shown the chance of rain receding even further in my area, storm risk now non existent.
  16. Think they're moving NNE, so off into the N Sea where they'll become massive supercells.... (same for the cluster in Essex).
  17. Yep, pretty yucky, the worst sort of summer weather. Bring back the blue skies! According to the radar it's supposed to be raining here, I felt about THREE raindrops FGS. Thundery breakdowns are now a thing of the past if you live in the eastern counties.
  18. Very oppressive outside, bring back the blue skies and gentle breeze! Clouded up quite quickly, I doubt if any of that rain is reaching the ground though....
  19. Hey ho, not even light drizzle. Roll on whenever we get some significant rain. September? October? Next year?
