    The band is literally 2 miles to my south, this is a joke.

    Looks like I'm too far North for the heavy stuff, this little snow is actually added to the thaw, just not my week.

    Yep, there will be some insane totals there today. The radar returns seem quite strange though, the ppn seems to go from intense to non existent within 5 miles.

    Already! You should have no issue passing 1ft, probably before midnight looking at the radar

    What sort of level accumulations and drifts have you guys got?

    Just been to an exposed hilly common by mine, whilst the general accumulation around here isn't great, the drifts on the common were unreal. Have a look at these. 1- entrance to the common (car park) 2- a picture of a drift 3- me knee deep in the drift sorry, the pics aren't great. @staffsnow you may want to head down there, it's right by yours I think.

    Think I'm gonna to go for a half hour walk, not often we get to experience Blowing snow like this.

    Level I'm going to say 2cm, drifting to maybe 6cm in places now.

    I'm in disbelief at that photo! So wildly different to here! A couple cm's on the bins! What depth is that table?

    The grass is still easily visible here, although we do have 5cm drifts in a couple of places now

    If we can get the Northwards/Eastwards progression, expect it all to start steering WNW soon.

    3 inches! That is crazy considering Lichfield has about 2cm, just goes to show its really just luck of the draw!

    A heavier shower around Coventry, that one will miss me to my East, of course it wouldn't hit me, that would be ludicrous.

    A fellow Burntwooder! I'm just up the road towards the common in Gentleshaw but work in Lichfield, where abouts in Burntwood do you live?

    6cm!! That's great considering we have 1-2cm in places at best, the grass isn't fully covered.

    I have to disagree here. I cannot see anything happening for our little part of the Midlands.

    I would go to the Brecon Beacons if I were you, you'd have to be VERY careful overnight though, maybe try and get an Air BnB or hotel there if it is feasible.

    It says it all when i'm looking at a radar hoping a bit of light blue ppn (pink if on weather type) will come over my area.

    Absolutely not i'm afraid, in fact, along with anyone in a line across to Leicester, I am sure we have done worse than anyne else in the coutnry for thsi cold spell.
