  1. I've drawn this to show what we are babbling on about, first part of the latest Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted TAFs Indicates EGKK 222301Z 2300/2406 08008KT 9999 FEW030 TEMPO 2300/2307 7000 SHRA TSRA PROB40 TEMPO 2300/2307 3000 +SHRA +TSRA SCT004 BKN010CB.................. 100% Thunderstorm in Rain, with a 40% chance of Heavy Thunderstoms in Rain. Blue is your cold front, Purple is your (Occlusion) and red is your Warm Front. As you can see that's how the MetOffice portray things and what's on the radar.
  2. Has anyone seen the stuff tailing Frenchie? North West of Le Harve? Frenchie is still maintaining 16-32mm of rainfall at the moment, I believe - so let's not rule her out for strengthening, but has anyone also noticed the stuff forming west of Le harve? in a line from Eastbourne to Brest. It looks like Frenchie is bigger than we think, as all of this is joined together. The cold front has only just moving through, whilst the warm front (north of Frenchie) head northbound, now I am no Meteorologist, but 1am should probably see things kick off when the warm most air is replaced by the cold air from the Atlantic. Triple point fronts are extremely hard to get right. I asked someone to name it, and someone did.....
  3. I noticed that, maybe what ever is west is going to give us the storms, maybe frenchie was not forecasted. Who knows, it's a guess game now.
  4. Before righting Frenchie off, let's just wait for it to hit land??? If it doesn't hit land, or doesnt intensify it's time to hit bed, and once again forecasts where wrong.
  5. Yes however I remember to recall last time I was online, the storms that hit land was only rainfall. Let's just wait and see, 2am if that storms de-intensifying more, call it a night. What I've learnt with weather is you cannot forecast it, at all - what you can do is go by the METARS, which is the current weather affectively, most accurate weather ever.
  6. I've spoke to someone on Skype earlier, and he was saying it could be a Gust Front. Is that a Supercell?
  7. I've noticed this, you can see the Cu more clearly aswell, I've turned my lights off so I can get a better view tonight. Got my HD 1080p camera charging which has a direct view of South London, which apparently has a severe flood warning on with the LFB. Only problem is the camera can be very grainy at night. It's not on BBC forecasts/metoffice at all, just light rain according to what I am looking at. This is a beast though, I've not seen anything like this in a long time - at least 10 years. COME ON FRENCHIE!!
  8. Yes that MCS is getting a bit to big for the UK, at the moment it covers an area so big, that it's the width of the entire south coast of England LOOOL! This is immense, come on FRENCHIE pick up and give us a storm to remember. Now Now Guys, Lauren's got Frenchie on her mind haha! That's what I throught, looked like that video of that guy that went Hurricane Hunting when his wife didn't approve, was on BBC??
  9. Olala, FRENCHIE is beginging to look like the best storm in at least 10 years!! Well for me anyway, I've not had a night storm since I was a little boy.
  10. Anyone got the latest Netweather Radar Screeny? What's she doing now? Anyone got a name for 'her'??
  11. On a more lively note, Ive got the sound of the Met's Police EC145 over my house.
  12. Thanks, keep posting when it gets closer. Looking big, lets hope the English channel strengthens this beast.
  13. Someone post there Netweather radar screenshot pleaseeey, wanna see what this beast is doing?
  14. Thanks for explaining the Wifes tale a bit more in-depth, well I fancy sleeping a little bit soon, waking up at midnight and see what's going on.
  15. Can red sky at night sometimes be a warning? I know morning it's a warning. But at sunset, surely not with what's forecasted?
  16. It does doesn't it Paul, looks like something out of Independence Day. lol
  17. Let's hope this doesnt' turn out to be like that day we had 2,500+ cape over the UK. Anyone want to skype conference tonight??
