    Doesn't look like we'll be unleashing the Atomic Warlord tonight then either!!! Weather station just sent a Heavy Rain Notification, Rain alarm is going off every couple of minutes. Oh well!

    Rain .....11.9c Steak and Guiness Pie filling currently on the stove. And we didn't get to set our big Firework off last night Roll on the weekend..

    Crumbs, I really don't envy South Wales ATM, looks pretty blowy!! We've postponed our whizz bangs until next weekend, although it's totally okay at the moment, We're a bit exposed here and I'm mentally scarred from the firework safety ads of the 80's. Spose they did the trick!

    My Weather station has just sent me a notification for heavy rain, had a bit of drizzly stuff here earlier but now just low dark fast moving clouds.... Can see the evening blob moving up on the radar... I thought it might have been here earlier, but looks like after dark now? Early gin O'clock today I think. Tis Friday and all....

    I've had nobody trick or treating here either! And I made little sausage rolls and rocky road cake! AND I made Smaug wear a tiny purple wizards hat, although I think he resents me a lot now. Oh well!

    Yay! I think we should go Viral with these! I used them the last two winters and got as adventurous as a 5 dayer at one point! I had to make a couple of extra Magnets with Printable sheets because the Temps were a bit thin on the ground, but I love them! (not Sure my Twitter and Facebook followers felt the same, hey ho!)

    Nippy this morning! Glad I had the boiler on timer when we got up. No frost here either, but as a bonus I did see a shooting star last night, the sky was amazingly clear. For the foodies, there is a dedicated Netweather recipe thread in the lounge if anyone wants to add to it.. Looking at the weekend with interest, hoping it's not a complete washout for My mum's birthday fireworks Have a good day everyone!

    Well as we're either having it off or posting food, I'll add that i've got a Tarragon and Lemon Chicken in the Oven with Pancetta & Cheese stuffed Jacket Potatoes. And I've shamelessly had the heating on ALL day - planning my week in Soups and Stews and other toasty comfort foods There's also been pumpkin carving!

    Awwww., if we start having low after low I might need to start making my own Wine! I can't afford to stockpile EVERY weekend. Spose I could try not drinking it all.... Very fresh and bright this morning, 11c. Saw some quite tall bubbly clouds out west when I took oh to work, might have a peep at the radar... Have a lovely calm day everyone

    Wet and windy here on the estuary! And I'll be kicking about tonight, have a good sw view across the estuary so the rain is hammering against my window!

    *attempting* the all nighter. Not sure OH is that thrilled, I also requested that if it got bad, could we make a camp out of duvets sleeping bags etc in the living room..
