Just been outside , feels humid are we due thunderstorms? -
Can hear the thunder from here really loud booms . Picture is looking north from my house guess that's where it is coming from .

Blowing an absolute hoolie here can here sirens in distance . It blowing hard enough to rock the stacked garden chairs which I haven't seen for a long time .

It was mentioned something about a snow related thread being opened tomorrow to free up the mad thread. So maybe the most of the culprits have gone off in a sulk .

Completely agree they look all over the place to my I don't have a scooby doo on charts eye but I am enjoying the ride .

Temperature now down to 1c . Having a rest from the Mad thread as it started to slip into the north v south again it drives me mad in my little head anyone that gets snow over the next couple of days is lucky not just because you live up North or down South !! OK my rant over

Sleet here about an hour ago with big flakes mixed in. Not holding my breath for anything more , would be nice though to see some falling snow before it turns wet and windy again.

Hi beka, wow haven't heard PGL spoken about for a very long time . I worked for PGL back in 1995 down at Beam House Devon. I remember how much fun it was and hard work as well but worth every minute . It was also a hot summer with some cracking thunderstorms.

-3 here last night. freezing fog still hanging around . My son just flew out the door to catch his bus and the curse of mum struck again as I shouted after him be careful its really slippy out there !!! As I watched him go head over heels , Now he's just messaged me to say his bus has broken down . Can't help but laugh

I got a vest top, t-shirt, jumper and a thick cardi on plus my fluffy pj bottoms and long fluffy socks I got for Xmas. The other half says I look like Michelin man. I don't care I'm warm . Just put hot water bottle in bed before I get in .

Got down to -4c last night currently -1c . Really crunchy under foot when I went out to top up the bird /squirrel food this morning. The snow pictures look beautiful so happy you got snow down that way . I am a little bit jealous no really only a little bit.

Blowing an absolute gale here and chilly in the wind but it's not raining . A little relief before the next lot of rain comes through.

Yep like I said last night trying not to get excited I know it can all change in a heart beat. Fed up with all this rain had to go to Marlborough yesterday witnessed so many idiots driving through puddles as fast as they could Also saw one lady minding her own business walking get absolutely soaked by said idiot who obviously doesn't care. So I'm going to pop back into the Mad thread to see what the mood is today.
