I'm currently looking for a reasonably priced weather station as mine has given up altogether it has had bits replaced so many times now it's ended up being like Triggers broom. so if anyone can recommend a reasonably priced one I would be very grateful.

Well it's hot here not sure temps as my weather station has now gone into fall meltdown an is saying we have snow on its way.

According to my phone we reached 35c today not quite as hot as yesterday which was 38.7c my poor station had its own melt down and stopped working. Did enjoy sitting out in the brief shower we had earlier. My heart is going out to all those poor villagers just outside of London .

Well nothing here last night, very little rain as well. Noticed I am just within the warning area for later. Not holding my breath though. A little jealous of all who had good storms last night.

I have been watching the live feed of the Peregrine falcon nesting up on Salisbury Cathedal boy she looks cold.

After a beautiful sunny day with a biting wind it has just gone dark and now have tiny snowflakes falling.

All gone quiet now tucked up in bed , after what seemed a very long day. Garden is trashed so hopefully do some tidying up tomorrow, thought we got away quite lightly really compared to other people . At 4 o'clock there was a knock at the door our neighbour over the rd came over to tell me we have a tile loose on the roof when I looked up it was a ridge tile balacing on the edge by the gutter . I politely said thank you and pointed out she had lost her guttering she wasn't so polite and walked off. Stormforce beka hope your feeling better soon .
