Bloomin woman beating me on the snow stakes again then?!

Very strange, i work in Hailsham and left there to go home to Polegate halfway between Hailsham and Eastbourne at 5, Snow then in Hailsham. Heavy Sleet though here in Polegate giving a slushy covering. The rest of the snow had pretty much melted during the day though, sooo close to borderline.

Simon Parkin on south east news on ITV apparently said sleet and rain tomorrow , hope not!!!!!!!
Lol, Simon Parkin!
-
massive flashing to the south. That's no train
Its certainly not lightning my friend, there is no real deep clouds to your South, mainly to your North and East now :-)

i think Eastbourne area got lucky today as the back build is still over us and has been moderate to heavy snow all-day! around 10cm has fallen today! makes up for friday where we got 0.5cm!
Good to see your here buddy, just up the road from you in Polegate and yes, i agree, we were very lucky to be in that lil streamer of backbuilding precip, looks to be finally die-ing off now but what a stroke of luck for us, 9 hours pretty much solid snow!

My OH just taken my boy in his sledge to Gloucester park why not me you may think, well it looks like I've either got shingles or slapped cheek syndrome have a bright red face very sore tight cheeks that are itchy as hell, maybe an allergic reaction I don't know but I can't risk going out till I know for definite and although the cold will probably ease the pain I am feeling I doubt very much it would help either - so a snow day and I'm stuck in boo hoo
Sorry i have to quote your sore tight cheeks, cant miss the chance.....

His location is in his signature.
Lol there are some cheery people in here sometimes arent there!!

Happy to see the backbuilding continuing down here in Polegate near Eastbourne. Had an almost constant stream of snow for a good hour now, everytime it looks to be just about to finish it rebuilds up again, long may it continue!!
-
It's ok he's from Polegate they're a bit weird down there!
How rude. Hailshamite.
-
Might want to actually check the definition of blizzard!
Lol, or an area of slightly heavier snow eh Jules?!
Nice to see a bit heavvier stuff just before it slips away from us
-
Coming down hard now. Stronger echoes on the radar and looks like Eastbourne in a sweet spot at the moment.
Hi buddy, been watching a lil line of precipitation expand right over our area, be good to see this continue for a while before it runs 'op north!
-
Quote @Surrey in last page: What? The 850s are still blowing it West :
Im talking about where i am on the South East Coast buddy, radar clearly shows it leaving my area now, you will still be ok for a while though so fear not!

Awwww, i dont want to sound sad but, back edge of the precipitation very close to Eastbourne coast now. A slight bit of amplification at the trailing edge of the band going on right now, after that it looks to be creeping up north/north east direction. So some more for you guys to the East and North to come for a good few hours yet. Mustnt grumble, had a few CM here this morning. Next watch for me is the system that could track along the south east coast tomorrow!
