  1. Hence why I am not jumping up and down Tom, that type of persistant gnats dandruff snow in the estuary is very different from a proper thames snow streamer. Will take what we can get I suppose and thanks for posting the charts but that would not even give any depths around here.

NMM Showed this as well with the very light pink colours on its predictive precip charts.

But others are seeing this as quite the event so will keep watching and hoping.

Temp really rising now as well.

    0.4c in a SSE Wind

Very light temps down here near Eastbourne now Paul, dews now risen to zero and about +0.5c, very marginal light snow here now but very slight.

  2. Aaaah well, the front is decaying fairly rapidly now. Has pretty much cleared the south east coast. Was not quite as much as i was hoping for, ut i think it decayed a lot quicker than i hoped. There were some false echoes that popped up for a while which do make it look like it has intensified, but they have gone now. Still some more snow to come for those further North and East. Looks like that may be it for down this way for now. Next lot due? Sunday by the looks of things. Lets hope this is not too marginal, especially for me near the coast. :/

  3. ok, its going to snow loads, upgrades galore, lets ignore the facts, lets not be realistic yay

Am I doing it right?! smile.png

Sorry buddy but the system is now clearly pivoting (getting annoyed with that word already!) Anyway, try to stop with the 'down' attitude, most of your posts do seem a bit doom and gloom. Theres nothing wrong with being mistaken sometimes. Not saying you will of course but there is clearly still some hope! :-)

  4. dont bother with met check they are useless .im forecast that on the 6 th may 2013 its going to be 17 c & sunny lol .although im sure you will do well where ever you are ,but stick to net weathers forecast me thinks !!!

You know what? thats probably a pretty good call for the weather around that date, i wonder how well that will varify?! biggrin.png
