    Watching this line of heavy precip move closer to me. Seems to be lots of movement in the clouds base that's for sure. Very blustery here.

    A few photos I took today with a Canon DSLR Looking NNE at the cell that brushed North Bristol producing a lot of rumbles of thunder. Now looking West at the CB's that developed in Wales heading towards Bristol Again looking NNE at the Cell that brushed North Bristol moving Eastwards Then looking West again at the growing CB's and what they turned into as Thunder and Lightning struck shortly afterwards.

    Just a couple of pics of the cell that gave me a decent strike and nice booms of thunder. Nothing special but looked mighty angry.

    Thats not too bad I guess. So chuffed to see lightning and instant thunder though. Been so long since I saw that. I wonder when the next round is. Charts don't show much but anything can change within a few days so lets see.

    Looks like the end of the action however a tad more rain is coming by the looks of it. Haven't heard thunder for a while now so I guess that is all for now.

    Well, 1 strike of lightning right infront of me with a huge boom. Another flash after that along with contstant thunder and then a strike in the distance towards Winterbourne. Not bad at all. I guess thats us done for the day. Or maybe something following from behind of that cell AWD? 2 white blobs appeared on raintoday radar behind what we just got.

    Torrential rain and lightning strike infornt of me with huge thunder!! Woooopie!!! I will AWD I'll post em after window watching!

    The black skies to the west are nearing my location. Thunder is getting louder. Oh please let this be the one! ha ha

    Although I haven't experienced a storm for years now....today is the day I have heard the most thunder since my last storm in 2007. The sky is now very black to my West where constant booms are being heard. It just doesn't stop!!

    Still hearing BOOMS of thunder. My blitzortung app on my phone is constantly alerting me of strikes in the area. A lot to the east of Bristol. And fresh strikes occurring around Newport.

    Still hearing faint rumbles in the distance, apart from the one thats going on now which was a tad louder. CB's are towering to my south south west.

    Suns back out here. Had only light shower from the edge of the cell to the north but some decent rumbles agmonst it.

    Another nice rumble. Slowly getting darker here. And another! Nice long one that. I make that another. lol.... Some stikes in Southern Bristol now. 7 rumbles so far!

    I might be lucky enough to catch something, maybe. Skies are so black to the north and seem to be edging near me. Could be my first storm for years!

    Can clearly see the dark skies to my north north east now. CB's have moved on-top of me now. C'mon!!!!!
