  1. A beautiful autumnal afternoon. Clear blue skies and completely calm. 9C.
  2. The sun is out! Quite hazy though. Light wind, 12C.
  3. Very heavy, driving rain, as it has been all day. Strong, gusty wind. 13C.
  4. The wind has really picked up here in the last hour or so. Some very strong gusts. Heavy rain with some very heavy outbreaks at times. 10C.
  5. An acrid smelling smog like mist has come down in the past half hour, with poor visibilty. :shock: It follows persistant mist/low cloud all day. Thick cloud and damp after a morning of heavy rain. 12C.
  6. Quite overcast with some ominous looking clouds around. Calm but just 7.9C.
  7. Mainly clear now, following an overcast day with outbreaks of rain and a top temp of 9C. Turning into a chilly night, with a temp of 7.5C.

  12. Aftre a dry but cloudy start, it's now raining heavily. Low cloud on the hills. Strong wind. 12C.
  13. This morning was drizzly, very overcast and cool. The hills are now shrouded in mist and low cloud. Still overcast and damp. 13C.
  14. Yes, it was the 13th, within the space of about 12 hours. It was honestly one of the most active days I can ever remember.
  15. An overcast, damp morning with drizzle and plenty of low cloud and mist. Has now cleared to leave some hazy sunshine. Light breeze. 15C.

  17. A lovely evening with unbroken sunshine and a great sunset, has turned in to a clear moonlit night. Cool at 9C.

  19. A very grey day. Moderate blustery rain until midday. Very overcast with outbreaks of drizzle since then. Fog/low cloud on hills. 15C.
  20. A very 'eerie' looking sky. Full of slate grey, cumulus clouds. There have been a few light but very blustery showers through the day, but it's now dry. A strong, very cool wind. 13C.
  21. Very overcast, very foggy, damp, occasional drizzle, no wind. 15C.
  22. A lot of cumulus cloud about, but constant sunshine. Light breeze, feeling cool at 17C.
  23. No wind, clear, apart from a few thin clouds. A cool 9C. Should be interesting to see how low they go tonight.
  24. Counted about 10 seperate stroms from yesterday afternoon up until midnight. :shock: A horrendous night. Futher outbreaks of thunder and spectacular lightshows through the night. The one major strom occured at about midnight. A few flashes of lightning and thunder, followed by a prolonged period of torrential hail, which was bouncing off the windows. The way the gales picked up in that time was terrific. A few bins blown over and branches down. Heavy, very blustery, but non-thundery showers are continuing this morning.
  25. Emptying it down. Occasional flashes of lightning, some thunder. Easily half an inch of rain in the past hour or so.
