  1. Warning fromt the met Office was only just Extended to Milton Keynes, yet they are meant to have 87mm tomorrow.
  2. Aww.. Poor tree It's just we seem to miss most of the bad weather here.. I'd like to see something a lil more interesting for once
  3. Looks like were stuck with this rainy pattern still. 30+mm for here tomorrow, hoping it's a lil worse than they say, though. Still not happy we missed all the fun from the low a few days ago.
  4. Looks like another wet 24 hours. Weather underground predicting 30+mm of rain for parts of Wiltshire tomorrow http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=swindon
  5. Windspeed already dropping here now, with a max gust form this system a pathetic 35mph. And a total of 18mm or rain since yesterday morning, though I guess something could still happen, right?
  6. Even though it is an exposed coast, it's still pretty unusual for June. Still trying to find a webcam of the Enlish channel/bristol channel, there seem sto be a lot of talk about a surge and large waves there..
  7. Any flooding so far? I'm quite suprised the Met office only gave this a yellow warning for rain seeing as parts of wales are expected another 3 inches today.
  8. Wow. Had more rain here today than all of yesterday, and we were'nt even forecast much today. 8mm so far, and the winds have picked up. Sky news say there will be a sea swell of up to 5 meters in the english channel...that's onr to look out for!
  9. Woah, must be bad. Do you have a link to a live cam to see this happening?
  10. Winds definitely picking up now! Gusts in the high 30's here, and by what the local weather station is saying, the pressure is still dropping slightly.
  11. Not raining much here now, not that it has rained much at all today. Still drizzling on and off, but the wind is definitely picking up now. Getting gusts of around 30mph, which is about 10 mph more than we were a hour or two ago..
  12. Looks like NW Ireland have it bad too. 85mm..Ouch. There again, by that maps prediction we should have nearly and inch here, and we have had 7mm. Most of the rain has likely moved North by now too.
  13. The rain is starting to slowly pick up now. Still fairly light, but persistant. About 2mm in the past hour, totalling 6mm in total. Pressure dropped tot 989mb now, too! Wind still only gusting to 18 or 19 mph 42mm :o Over what period of time has that been?
  14. Rain has picked up slightly, but still nothing compared to what most places have/will have. Hopefully it will pick up some over the next hour or so.
  15. Swindon. Not far from devizes, but we aren't seeing much at all. Drizzling for the past 10 mins, and wind is slightly faster, nothing out of the ordinary, though.
  16. That's gret to hear! I thought we were missing out on all the fun for a while. I'll look out for it.
  17. Wiltshire. Quite suprised we have had pretty much nothing. I know the wind is meant to pick up overnight, and later on today, but I'm suprised at the very little rainfall we have got.
  18. Pretty much stopped raining now, and calm. Only around 5mm of rain here Pressure dropping drastically here now though, -1.3mb/h, so hope we will get more than the 5mm or rain and 20 mph gusts we have had so far.
  19. Amber Warning of Wind07 Jun 2012, 11:30 Issued at - 07 Jun 2012, 11:22 Valid from - 07 Jun 2012, 11:30 Valid to - 07 Jun 2012, 23:55 Southwesterly gales are likely to develop across much of southwest England during Thursday and extend into parts of south Wales on Thursday evening. The public should be prepared for disruption to travel and outdoor activities. Damage is also likely to some trees. The gales are also likely to be accompanied by heavy rain.
  20. Windspeeds for the southwest set to pickup overnight, so possibly gusts around 60-70mph on the coast, maybe 50-60 inland.
  21. Current temp - 13.9C Rainfall - 2.2mm Pressure - 993.2mb (-0.7mb/h) Wind - Around 7 mph, gusting to about 20. Max gust 22 mph
  22. Doesn't look like it will effect this part of the Southwest too badly.. Meant to have about an inch of rain later, and some 40-50mph gusts, but that's about it. But 980mb - Isn't that like a December/January thing? O_o
