    Morning. As someone else said, it feels like Autumn today! Patchy rain here now and think the worst, heavier prolonged rain is just north of us.

    Been expecting some heavy rain here today but we've had hardly anything. Didn't even start raining until half five this afternoon! Now just spitting slightly.

    England go out of the World Cup... the sun disappeares, replaced with grey cloud... And as I sit outside I start feeling the odd drop of rain on me!

    Hi all. Really heavy shower here at the moment in WS3. Water gushing down the road, similar to last weeks when we had floods. I trust this wont be sticking around though!

    A lot less humid than the last two days but nothing else to report here... just these greyish/white skies all day!

    Some storms brewing near Oxford! Wish they were heading my way but I'm just a bit too north in Walsall. Ridiculously humid out though, looking forward to the weekend when it cools down a little. Absolutely loved this spell of weather though! From the snow falls a few months back to heat, to the unbelievable amount of rain we had on Sunday, to the humidity!

    Hi guys. Just at work, checked the MetOffice forecast (yes, I know, not reliable) makes it look as though my walk home at 5pm could be fun... Heavy snow for a few hours?!

    Evening folks. Almost all snow now gone with the help of some rain today, just a few patches of ice/slush left -both very slippy! Walked to work today and some pavements were just like a sheet of ice, glad to see the back of that!

    Heavy snow here in Pelsall. Huge flakes! Incredible how quickly it's settled too. The floor is white again!

    This is exactly how I feel now that the realisation of work is here! Walsall are gritting at 4am, if your council does similar, you could be out at the best time, freshly treated and less idiots around!

    Have you seen our MetO update now?! Heavy snow from midnight till 4am!

    I said earlier, if only this had happened in two weeks time it would've been happening on Christmas Eve, would have been special!

    So 16 hours later and it's still snowing, but snowing as lightly as it has at any point today so I'm thinking the end is nigh, even if the MetO do have us down for heavy snow in the early hours!

    Seems the MetO shouldn't have changed the forecast from 5pm to 6pm as we've got heavy snow again!

    MetO has now changed back to light snow throughout the night, with heavy snow in the early morning.

    No melting here and still steady light snowfall. MetOffice has now updated to 90% chance of heavy snow at 8pm, 80% chance of heavy snow at 9pm This just keeps on giving! Light snow then right through until 5am, albeit dropping to 50% chance after 1am. Seems silly to say it as it's just one day... but this will live long in the memory for just the constant snowfall. Hasn't stopped since 4am.

    Still falling steadily here. Quite unbelievable. Everywhere that wasn't covered is covered again. I've never known continuous snowfall like it! One of the shops opposite me has decided to close early, I don't blame him! What a treat today has been Might head out before it gets dark and take a few pics.

    Actually, is starting to stick again now on cars which snow had fallen off/was cleared off!

    Still decent snowfall here. Bigger snowflakes have made way for the finer stuff that we'd had all day. Noticeable that the temps had rose as it didn't seem to be sticking for the last hour but as others have said, temps will go down soon.
