  1. Blizzards, it is not glorious here today, not as cold as the weekend but still dull and cool
  2. im just being cautious as last weekend and today was supposed to be warm here, 16 or 17 c and it was freezing and dull at the weekend and today was 14c and cloudy, but if we get a whole week of warm sunshine i will be more than happy.
  3. i know which is why i expect this upcoming sunny spell to last 5 days max, so im not surprised it will end when some horrible cloudy easterly returns
  4. yep 3 or 4 days of nice weather, then back to business as usual, when does wall to wall sunshine ever last for 2 weeks or more in this country
  5. today looks like a big downgrade as it will only be 13c here, when it was meant to be 18c and sunny, this follows a turgid weekend when it was supposed to be 16 or 17c i can only hope that from tomorrow onwards doesn't end up being a let down also
  6. awful awful day, firstly luton losing at wembley, which was made worse by that horrible cold easterly wind it was bloody freezing
  7. yet another vile, dull day which wouldn't look out of place in october next week we should make the most of the pleasant spell as i bet it won't last as long as the models make out
  8. good god what a turgid dull, drizzly day roll on next week please don't downgrade into some horrible dull easterly
  9. i guess if we get a nice anticyclone that lasts for 10 days you would soon get fed up of it won't you Aaron, and would find it tedious
  10. its cloudy here, makes a nice change, its not as bad as telford but its still bad
  11. yeah your right reed i completely agree i guess we don't notice as much if temps downgrade from 16c to 14c for example in spring,
  12. is this a joke, High pressure everywhere bar us http://www.meteociel...1-192.GIF?17-12
  13. no frost here tonight 7.4c so frosts and cold weather do downgrade in spring as well as winter, a couple of days ago we were certain to have a frost tonight according to forecasts
  14. i think my crops would be safer in january than in may, as they died last night however the good news is last night could of been the last of the frosts so i will plant new seeds in again
  15. no way it is hard enough to get my crops going down south if i lived up north i wouldn't bother
  16. yes then when we have a rare, mostly clear day the few clouds that pop up always go near the sun and annoy me when im trying to sunbathe only 11.8c here though im getting used to these poor temps now ps sorry for the double quote i have no idea why it does that i don't press the quote button twice
  17. dear me so we finally get rid of the cold nights, but now that is going to be replaced by the usual may easterlies and yet more slate grey skies so although my crops won't die from the cold they will get battered by the wind, when will this horrid weather end ? February reached 16c here a few times, we have only had 16c here about 3 times this month, i will actually get excited if the charts were showing temps of 18c that is how bad it is right now.
  18. even though we have short nights, we still get about 9 hours where it is cold, it starts to cool down at about 9pm and it doesn't start warming up again till about 6am, so that is plenty of time for a frost to occur
  19. already dropped another degree, now down to 4.7c i think it will get down to 0c here tonight
  20. my poor crops will die tonight from this annoying frost, in january we barely had a frost, typical weather currently 5.7c here
  21. after a cloudy day with showers the skies are clearing in the evening like usual, frosty toinght R.I.P crops
  22. no, the ECM wouldn't have us in meltdown in january, enigma, there is too much high pressure about so where would the snow come from, yes it would be cold, but not much snow, your wumming is getting boring.
  23. back to the usual grey skies and plain blandness nothing more to say really
  24. Have to laugh at the greenland High showing on the GFS in FI, i bet it don't downgrade either and this cool rubbish carries on, whilst other countries in europe bask in a heatwave same old same old
  25. at last a decent sunny day, shame we have to pay for it with a cold night which might damage my crops, i wish the cloud would turn up at night instead of the day time like most days.
