Must have been further over toward Wales. Saw the lightning but thunder still sounded a fair distance away

Just had torrential rain and a clap of thunder as the shower moved on. The rain was over flowing the gutters and drains.possible ,thought I saw some distant lightning about 30mins ago but nothing on detector (boltec)....

Shame it isn't dark. Would have been a decent display over the sea. Just watching the cells near Winsford now.
