    If remember rightly didn't some of best winter weather come from high pressure over or near to U.K.

    I no it's long way but that's very cold to east .

    Just few days ago they were going for high pressure to the north east so the updates are likely to change snow wise..

    Gfs is interesting as there is right old battle going on with less cold weather trying to push in from the west and we have much colder air trying to push in from the east interesting models at the moment..

    If we do get a mild push start of December it looks to be short lived.

    Very interesting chart this is cold cold cold start to winter. The meto last night gave hints in there long range forecast WINTER IS COMING .

    Cold is the name of game as we move in to December models all over place at minute still week away but a firming up of models on way

    If anything northerly signal getting stronger it's been toying with this for a few runs now let's see where we are tomorrow trends are the key.

    Very interesting update from met office for the start of winter and behond there must have very good signal for cold weather though out December the talk of snow as well something is afoot

    I can't see this high pressure to north west occurring models keep pushing back or dropping all together I might be wrong. I really do think we are in for a big surprise this winter- December with higher pressure to the north east battle ground events may be wrong time will tell.

    Metoffice mentioned there is a possibility of high pressure building to the north east .

    Hi all the rollercoaster continues . . Is this rise in pressure over Scandinavia a hint of cold could come from the north east rather then north west as we go on in to December ???

    This looks interesting back end of November hope this winter coming we get the prize some hard frosts and snow very interesting winter a head.

    Hi all haven't had chance to look at the models Ian said chance of a colder outbreak later next week where are we looking north or east thank you.

    So an interesting update this morning from Ian F. Where will the blocking take hold my feeling is to the north east time will tell.

    I really do think we are in for some proper cold weather later this month with brutal cold coming from the east we'll see how it goes.
