High pressure pushes north slightly . -
I no this is a long way out it looks very cold eastern Europe starting push west uk looks to be cooling to but its 384 hours away.

North east America is very cold at the moment and this is beefing up the jet stream coming out of America a change to less cold for that part of world coming soon . We may see a change for U.K more settled and colder In to new year. I'm still learning I could be completely wrong on this.

Has you can see the high is to the east maybe slightly north so yes a southerly south easterly.

Unsettled over Christmas period then a battle low to west high to east. The high will win battle run up to new year with a cool south easterly .

The Atlantic breaks through around Christmas time but not for long as the high to east says no I'm the boss I'm here to stay maybe this is first Hint That high wants to push north west or north east more runs needed.

By looking at this its quite cool for Christmas and wetter this is for London.

Meto have been bang on they predicted blocky start to winter we have seen cold down here in the south east we went down to -7 the block was in wrong place for snow meto have done pretty well .

Hi with high pressure to the north east does this mean low pressure will go south east in to Southern Europe just can't see any low pressure going north east by looking at this .

There is no snow in the air yet but I do think gfs looks ok going forward we have lower pressure in Southern Europe and the westerly flow hitting a brick wall to north and east of uk be patient the cold and snow will come . Well hope so.

Can't see no Atlantic break through bye looking at this cold and frosty in south milder future north Christmas week.

Looking dry with some frosty weather Christmas. But BBC long range saying no snow in forecast yet but could change Christmas period.

I would love see this come off I'm in south east London I'm sure this could bring blizzards if the cold pool moved in you never no with the weather.

I just thinking back I'm not sure what year it was same model went for a mild winter a few years ago but then had one the coldest winters for like 30 years I'm not sure what year 2009 - 2010.

Just need push that high bit further north then we are in freezer.

Here comes a Christmas easterly I do think some surprises are on way we may not get a white Christmas but something is cooking and it's not my Christmas dinner yet .
