Well looking at this it looks like a cold Christmas with frosts wind coming from south east no mild south westerly there.

I don't think models look to bad south east of uk looking calm dry frost as move further on. The north west looks little more unsettled at times with a south westerly but south westerly never gets in to the south east so it's north west / south east split. Then Christmas period looks like there's a battle ground no snow yet . But low to west high to east maybe some colder air coming in from east I think this much better then last December endless storms the meto have had this nalled still got plenty of time for for cold and snowy surprises if there was any cold with snow on way I bet meto would be first to see long before we do I could be wrong on that but as for me love trying to forecast the weather.

I don't think this done yet more changes to come im not giving up yet lets see what the pub run comes up with.

You must have a Crystal Ball then I just checked meto there going with a backtrack in models with very cold temperatures and blizzards hit south east England next weekend.

Don't think the block to east is not going to be blowen away Iike what GFS is doing more like a battleground hp to east low to the west . No snow.

Christmas Day looks cold frosty in south with a easterly.

High pressure holding on to the east with GFS MODEL With south easterly flow looks cold to me hard frosts day time max 4-5 in south . if I can't have my snow fix yet I take this anytime.

And where in my post did I mention Fronts moving in to cold air and giving snow . All I said was the update from the meto they mentioned battle ground milder to west colder to the east so don't no where mention of snow came from.
