    Here we go has its there might as well show it cold and blocked towards month end.

    Are we just beginning to sign of blocked pattern return later this month the PV is in tatters .

    This looks interesting I do feel this winter is going to be very very interesting.

    There is good chance of a snow event Tuesday evening for parts of the north mainly On the hills but some getting down to low levels in the north at times as a front moves in from the west this rain band looks to stall on the eastern side of country and never makes it in Eastern Europe the cold block is not going nowhere to north east Europe..

    12z runs looks like Scandinavia high is winning the battle GFS-ECM lots of twists and turns to come..

    November 5. Where I live south east London feels very wintery out there I have seen two frosts this autumn last winter I did not see one. Looking very good as we approach winter gfs looks cold and wintery at times

    So westerlys push in next week but high pressure remains high over Scandinavia is this a sign what's to come later on. Or sudden shift in the models sooner rather then later on in the month.

    So it's looking like a brief mild interlude up to mid month then blocked pattern returning and looking to being on the cold side.

    Yes all looking very good later November with a signal for more blocked conditions and colder start to winter very interesting times ahead much much better to this time last year.

    So it looks like there going with the ecm cold staying put chance of some sleet and snow in the south east England next week..

    Turning much colder as we go through the week..

    Staying blocked No westerly in there

    Colder spell on the way with some cold rain and some wintery showers on the hills nights will be cold with some autumn frosts too later in the period it stays cold no mild stormy weather on the horizon yet

    The blocked pattern continues no westerly to be seen. Cooler as we go in to November with frosts

    Let's see if we can keep this blocking in place for later part November and in the right place to deliver. Im not looking for snow and deep cold for now let's all look at the pattern as we go deeper in to November it's looking very interesting..

    Met office is going for cooler /colder start November with some wintery showers in the northern parts with frosts risk increasing ..
