    I grew up in Hoylake and it rarely snowed being so close to the sea. Great to see the marine lake covered in snow and not flooding for a change!

    Wind isn’t really strong enough to push them through just yet, but hopefully as the North Sea low pushes South we should see a tightening of the isobars tomorrow/Wednesday, that should aid with pushing them further inland

    Interesting to see the Ice warning extended into the NW Mids for the next few days, could this suggest some streamer events? I'll be surprised if we do, given the winds are expected to fall lighter over the weekend, but maybe some of us will get lucky..
