    With the high pressure sticking to us for next couple of weeks I be concerning the potential water shortage. That is a bad thing for blocking highs. You may have lower heating bills but you eventually have to pay higher water bills.

    No cold? Theres -4 uppers over northern Britain. Thats cold enough to fall as snow over the hills of Scotland and Northern England. Atleast for 2 days though.

    If you want snow watching look at this: http://www.bt.no/kamera/ This is in Bergen and tonight it is gonna be snow showers expected local time. We may not snow here but theres always some other place gonna get it everyday.

    If we don't get snow or cold next week we could always watch snow falling at the webcams in America or something. Its better than waiting for it.

    Last night before going to sleep I saw the first snowflake of the season. It just melted while it landed on my window, it were raining too. Too bad the cold snap just too short. It is chilly and cloudy here in Chorley. Saw a big shower coming in from the Irish Sea atm.

    lol good one matt. BBC Lincolnshire's Sharon Edwards says there are reports of flooding in High Street, Faldor Crescent, Left Street and Bank Street in Boston.

    Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service says a section of the roof at the Chill Factore indoor ski centre in Trafford Park, Manchester, was blown loose by the wind. Around 300 people were safely evacuated as the roof was made safe and the centre was closed for the day while the roof was made safe.

    Rain readily turning wintry here. Its hail/graupal mixing in with the rain here, maybe the colder uppers are closing in. Update: Gone clear again now.

    The police in great Yarmouth says it will be worst than 2008 storm surge. Pretty sure it was 2008.

    Showers are coming in from the Irish Sea here now. Lets see what it would bring. I'm pretty sure they look like snow in them. But nope it has to miss me.
