    I'm disappointed with the weather warning didn't put up in the North West. It should. According to GFS from last night it will go very windy today, apparently from 9am to 3pm and on Tuesday from 3pm to 9pm.It be amber warnings on those times. I may not trust the Met Office but I have to trust the GFS.

    They won't put up weather warnings up because were used to it. Were been battered by more storms than the south recently. It makes sense they put up the warnings only for the softie southerners.

    There is 2 bouts of very windy spell on Tomorrow morning from 9am to 3pm and on Tuesday, 3pm - 9pm.

    We may see a back edge snow event, especially over high ground perhaps over 200m on Tuesday/Xmas Eve morning.

    We may see blizzard conditions on Christmas eve morning. Very interesting. It may effect the getaway in Scotland, parts of both Southern and Northern Ireland and the Transpennine routes. This is on 12z GFS.

    I think the day is done with the showers now. It is going to be a chilly night and later the winds will strengthen to gale force and then the heavy rain comes in. It be feel alot colder with the wind and the rain around tomorrow.

    Just raining here, it was so close to turn to snow. so close!! I'm pretty sure I saw the first snowflakes couple of minutes ago.

    The band of showers is closing in here now and the sun is gone in. Is it me or is it trying to snow here?

    Too bad the shower to the north of me is not coming here. We need a north-westerly. Its hail in those showers, I can tell because it got white falling down from the cloud. Somebody is having a white out today, especially in Preston or northwards.

    They probably have to move out or may never move back in again in the run up to new year too as another one is brewing.

    I probably expect some landslides from this storm, caused by some uprooted trees. Cobra meeting please David Cameron!! He probably not gonna have one because it means he have to interrupt his Christmas break. Out of touch as usual.

    I had a hail shower this morning too but it was mixed in with the rain.

    No doubt, David Cameron probably suggesting a Cobra meeting tomorrow. The next storm is worser than St Jude's It is much more widespread, longer timing and wetter too.

    Lightning is not coming I'm afraid. It died to death as it hit land. I think it will gonna hail/torrential rain. But no thunder.

    The thunderstorms are now dying out as it hits land near Porthmadog. Can't believe that. Never mind. Onward to Monday!! It be a damp squid compared to Monday's storm.

    the lightning system is getting closer. Its gonna be a interesting few hours ahead. The Middle one (cardigan bay/West coast of Wales) will probably get to us about an hour's time. Be Prepared!!
