I saw dark clouds coming off the irish sea right now here in leyland.

Maybe if the showers come over you the temps might drop rapidly, especially if its blustery. Its sunny here in Leyland but not a cloud in the sky.

foggy over here, Temp of 2c but no sign of any cold weather or storms arriving maybe not until next week. This week is going to be one of those weeks which is dull, mild, cloudy and boring and nothing else. This week which I do not looking forward to. hate this sort of weather.

Ive went to chorley today and I saw grit all over the place. plus it wasnt even icy there. Whats a point putting grit out while the weather is not actually snowing/frosty? thats 1 day worth of grit just been wasted.

It will probably remain unsettled during the second half of next week and northern parts of the UK will probably see periods of rain, with snow possible on high ground, perhaps to low levels at times in the north and east. The south and west will remain drier and brighter, although with rain possible at times.
