  1. Hmmm that's accumulated precipitation up till about 1700 tomorrow. Hailsham is just inland from Beachy Head and inside that heavy bit. Big differences between NMM and EURO4.
  2. TfL manage the red routes or the main roads http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/about-tfl/what-we-do/roads
  3. Well personally I'd settle for a two week dry spell, my back garden is a pure mud bath at the moment with the amount of rain we have had
  4. Blue sky clouding over and moderate snow coming down. Light now EDIT: and stopped
  5. Great news that you are finally able to make the move you have wanted to do for a while
  6. Heya long time no speak. For me I'm usually lurking seeing what is going on weather wise around the region I can only presume that others come on here to report the extreme weather, be it thunderstorms, severe windstorms (have I ever mentioned I hate wind storms!), high temperatures etc. We are a relatively benign part of this little island and I can understand why there isn't normally much to talk about. Lastly snow seems to bring out the big kid in all of us. I defy anyone to walk past a fresh patch of snow and not be tempted to be the first to place their footprints in it, something I never seem to get to do having 3 dogs that just muck up any freshly laid snow.
  7. Just had a brief 2 minute heavy snow shower, was a bit of graupel mixed in with it as well.
  8. Hmm interesting WRF NMM is totally different to the EURO4 http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/wrfnmm.php?ech=3&mode=42&map=330
  9. Never ceases to amaze me that people on a weather forum take the BBC weather forecast as gospel
  10. From Fergie over on South West thread when asked about their snow potential for tomorrow and Tuesday of course plenty of time to change.
  11. Iceni I can't come up with any suitable words, I can only echo what others have expressed.
  12. You ask and I provide http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings/#?tab=warnings&map=Warnings&zoom=5&lon=-3.50&lat=55.50&fcTime=1422662400&regionName=se
  13. Hey Lawren yep I'll take that. Saw the sprinkling we had when I let dogs out first thing but went back to sleep so missed the next lot.
  14. MO warning out http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings/#?tab=warnings&map=Warnings&zoom=5&lon=-3.50&lat=55.50&fcTime=1422748800&regionName=se
  15. I would say you have more in common with this region than South West, I always think that the regionals should reflect the MO regions
  16. Might just as well get people to put their locations in as that will be the track that they predict!
  17. Some of the posts this morning have been shall we say entertaining to read! GFS charts have support from the WRF NMM http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/wrfnmm.php?ech=3&mode=1&map=330. Obviously this may change.
  18. Having already witnessed winter wonderland scenes last week that cropped up at relatively short notice I shall refrain from commenting until nearer the time.
