Oh for goodness sake one person says they have lost faith in it being snow after reading tweets then in the very next post someone else says the Meto have a severe weather warning out now for snow on Friday! I wish Id never found these forums Im slowley going mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont know if it was still snowing but he drove through and then phoned when he got home to say the roads were all white and really slippery

I dont put my cats out at night as theres too many dangers, other cats fighting cars driving faster and I wouldnt put them out in the cold, could you not shut the cat in the porch with cosy bedding and shut the cat flap? you wouldnt have to worry then. Sorry not weather related!!

im a bit confused about these temperatures as well, as far as i remember the years that we have had a lot of snow here it has been cold for a few days before snow, i mean really cold with hore frost, even i dont think its that cold right now and i feel the cold! Also on both the ITV and BBC local weather forecasts for where i am gave daytime temps of 6c, that isnt out of the ordinary sort of cold is it? or is it, am i missing something?

Having been watching the model threads and the interesting comments on this forum all week I can only conclude that actualy we know nothing,last week the majority of the various models were all agreeing we would have snow today and look whats happened....rain here. Its lovely looking at those pictures with the lovely pink blobs over me for Friday but if it actualy happens I will be amazed as the only weather these models seem to predict with any acuracy is rain, on that they are correct every time. I know they have been saying that the east would have snow and yes they are getting snow so maybe its just our area of the world that is harder to predict snow for. Anyway its been interesting but its back to the real world now.....well until Friday

Im confused, I dont have a clue about charts and stuff but have enjoyed reading other peoples views on what might or might not happen but having just watched the local spotlight weather its not even that cold for the next few days except maybe Sunday, where did all the cold go? or is it not supposed to get cold until after Monday? Hopeing someone on here has the answer, its way too scary in the Models section! should mention Im in Axminster East Devon

hmm not unless i go out in my pjs. raintoday has axminster for moderate snow but id be surprised if that happens. oh raintoday now says clear spells guess we had the moderate now then, oh well......

had a nice shower of proper snow here in axminster, cars roads and pavements got a covering, shame it didnt last but at least i got to see snow falling.

Yes I do see your point, they got it right for my area but others they didnt, so it was just luck (BAD luck lol) that they got it right and forecasted rain for us.

The forecasters got it right for my area, we were always on the line where snow became rain and thats exactly what happened, of course we hoped the snow would just move a bit over, we were so near yet so far, but I cant complain because what they said would happen did. Im not sure they ever did say it would snow up to Exeter? Yes I did read it on here somewhere but I didnt see a proper METO cast that said that. So they as far as my area is concerned they got it spot on Saturday and last night, sometimes we just dont want to believe what they are saying and clutch at straws.

I know we arent allowed to be negative but BBC spotlight just told me all Im going to get is rain so thats it for me, hope all you that get some snow enjoy it.

Does anyone know if Raintoday is accurate? I put in my town in and it came up with ice pellets for now at light rain at midnight and yet on their radar it looks like loads of rain/snow heading straight for us. I dont think my new amature weather career is going to last long, Iv no idea what it all means!
