    Dont know where everyone is from Devon/Dorset area but the sky is Very black coming from the Dorset direction.

    Im in the Lyme Bay area, distant thunder has been heard, assume its from the Bridport, Dorset, direction

    I was sat in my car in Lyme Regis today around midday and could have sworn I heard 2 rumbles of thunder but theres nothing on here about thunder so maybe it wasnt *shrugs* it was raining at the time and looked black out to sea.

    I missed it but Iv been reliably told there was 3 big flashes of lightening and a bang loud enough to be heard in a van driving along the A30 near Taunton.

    just saw 2 flashes of lightening, pretty sure it wasnt fireworks as the flash went right across the sky.

    It is strange, sat in bed and can hardly hear any wind, just an average stormy night, assuming that this is it of course (axminster devon) I might be back tracking when Iv lost my roof.

    Back from Lapland now. The 19th was bitterly cold, our guide we had on that afternoon found a thermometer that said the wind chill made it -18. Shortly after it started to snow. Lapland didnt dissapoint :-)

    Axminster had one bang and a bit of rain this morning. Its raining now but not really heavy.

    Im going to Lapland on 16th october. I know the weather will change but was very pleased to see one of the long range forcast had snow with -7 for the night we arrive, it seems to have been really mild so was pleased to see the temperature looks a little more Arctic :-)

    I can confirm Newton poppleford is real, its a village between Axminster and Sidmouth. Oh and its raining here, steamy weired weather.
