A friend of mine left taunton at 4.45 pm and got home 11pm (home being near axminster) .

It is still snowing heavily here in Axminster, I dont have access to temperatures but I was looking out of my window and there was some dripping from some mesh stood against the fence, suddenly the snow got heavier and in front of my eyes the drips just froze into mini icicles.

wow snow just suddenly got a lot thicker and instantly everywhere went white, happy now!!

been snowing since 3pm heavy but the only place its settled is on the cars, still at least we have falling snow I suppose, bit depressing though becaause this is exactly what happened Friday when just up the road from here got 4 inches and I expect the same places have more snow tonight.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but Iv seen others have said the heavier snow is still to come, Im just wondering if what we are getting here in Axminster is going to carry on, get heavier or if this is it? ah I see that question has been asked and answered! I dont have net weather radar are there any free ones that anyone could recommend?

nooo all we got out of Fridays snow was a bit of slush, just hope this snow is going to carry on for a few hours.

proper snow in Axminster now and its starting to settle on cars etc, why does snow make you feel like your 10 again?

Our local spotlight weather forcast had east devon under an amber alert with possible 10cm snow tonight.

Rain here and after the cold for the past few days its feeling positivly mild, car says 2.5 but I dont know how accurate it is.

Snowing again in axminster

been snowing quite heavily here for the past hour, lovely big proper flakes but not setteling because its too wet everywhere. Still nice to see it floating down.

seems to have stopped now here, we only have a covering of snow but Im happy it snowed at all, and sons school closed so he`s happy.

Yay its proper snowing now, grass and cars turning white.

Think its sleety here in axminster, although more snow than rain, its blowing so hard it looks like smoke. Not really settling but our blue car looks like its got something over it. So hope it delivers I told so many people who kept telling me it was too warm to snow that yes it was definitley going to snow.....

Yes you are right, just a case of what will be will be. It will be even more stressful tomorrow I guess, just hope for everyone that they get something exciting but stay safe as well.

Well Im on net weather regional forum so I looked up my forecasted weather on the net weather forcast, so the net weather local forecast isnt worth looking at then? I dont understand the need for sarcasm. Its not much better for my area on met area forecast either, Im on the coast. (sorry Im new I didnt highlight the right bit) the sarcasm was at me because I said net weather had me down for rain.

feeling a bit sad Net weather doesnt even give me sleet just rain, like we havent seen enough of that . Going to have to read about it from all you lucky ones instead. Enjoy when it arrives.
