    Looking good for the Northern half of the UK on this run.

    Saturday's low pressure seems to be tracking further North on the 12z GFS run, bringing more Northern cities like Manchester & Leeds into the firing line rather than the more Southern Cities, interesting times ahead...

    Rory your clutching at straws mate its one run from the GFS, its on its own all other major models support a sustained cold solution well in to next week. Mark my words that the next run will fall back in to line with previous thinking. Incredible how fickle some people can be after 1 run which is an outier anyway!

    John Hammond on the BBC Weather just said at the end of his forecast "Enjoy the mild Weather while it lasts...". Sounding ominous after last nights brief mention of the Stratosphere.

    Finally stopped here now. About 25mm has fallen here since 1pm this afternoon. More to come Wednesday night.

    Well the temp is dropping away rapidly now, shame its going to start rising again when the cloud starts coming in off the Irish sea.
