    Can report I've just observed some Snow Flakes blowing round in the Wind here in Billinge near Wigan. I have a feeling a few of us might be pleasantly surprised in the morning.

    Its the same here, when the wind blows it around if your looking at it under a powerful light it looks look light Snow, very deceiving!!

    You said "large flakes" if you saw that it must have been Snow if not you might have been mistaken.

    I'm inclined to agree with this, most of the more reliable models show Snow over large swathes of the North West of England.
