    That may be the case, but Greenland blocking isn’t the only deliverable for cold and snow for the UK Crewe. Obviously a Greeny block is the holy grail, but if we have to wait so be it. After all Wedges make sledges

    I already did, but to clear it up. UKMO and ECM in agreement at +72 - +120 at least. With those two in agreement I would be extremely surprised if the GFS is correct. It was also at the top (mild) of its members for that time frame. Whats your reasons for believing it to be correct? Cheers Karl

    Not really. The GFS was nowhere near the euros on the 12z and I’m not a fan of saying this, but that run should be binned!

    Very good news. GFS without doubt will fall in line. Can’t see both ECM and UKMO being wrong now. @Banbury was just a bit of fun. I know exactly what you meant, and it was wise. At some point things have to peak in terms of cold, but I don’t think we are there yet!

    Finally!!! A start to the day with a smile! Seems a long time ago we had great runs pretty much across the suites on the 00z ! ECM is an absolute beaut, getting cold in to the UK and locking it in! Get the cold in first Ok yes it’s a cold outlier, but it’s a totally feasible outcome. GEFS much better as well. Great start to the day

    Decent! I think come Tuesday/Wednesday we will start to see a lot more interesting op runs and gone will be the D10+ cold hunting!

    EC46 for the period we can see Not a bad match it’s not until after that we start to see above average heights further north do not confuse that with a greeny high, it’s not suggesting that... yet.

    Yes indeed, hence why I thought I’d highlight that. It’s almost as if it does that rhyme 1-2 skip a few 99, 100. Quite a skill. I’d imagine that’s exactly why the likes of the MetO use it for picking up or confirming a sniff of a trend ? rather than detail
