  1. UKMO probably going to end flat, although does again seem a bit of an improvement at +120
  2. Q Nirvana charts If yesterday taught us anything, it should be to not make assumptions at the moment. It's pretty chaotic in the nwp terms at the minute
  3. The quicker the models get to an agreement on this low the better, causing a lot of noise.
  4. It's a bit better upstream, but not enough to stop the pattern flattening on this run
  5. Actually i think members usually skip that bit...... they just arrive at the top and it's all downhill from there
  6. Just out of curiosity, what’s the reaction if the 06z shows blocking akin to ECM from the 12z of yesterday?
  7. Ahh the good old knee jerk reaction to on a single run.. sigh if these have flipped overnight I will be more than a little surprised!!
  8. The GFS picking up the signal like WTF!! using all of its instincts/bias to try and fight it. That’s was quite a run to behold Absolutely stonking set of ens from the rock steady EC
  9. Is that a positive or negative....... this is hardly the time for cryptic messages.
  10. That is an immaculate conception! talk about consistency! I was not expecting this at all must admit
  11. Incorrect! he is favouring the pressure rise over the weekend as per GEFS ensembles... that’s completely different to saying the gfs is right...
  12. GFS control tries ever so hard to get the same happy ending as the Op.
  13. Yes good point Nick, I was paying so much attention to that same low on the GFS, I forgot to look upstream on the UKMO. Arguably the GFS deals with it more beneficially from a downstream perspective than the UKMO... did i just say that Which results in the GFS being more amplified in the Atlantic at 144
  14. Some might say the GFS has not changed, but you try telling the NE USA Snow chasers that. They've gone from an all snow event, to a snow/rain event because the low takes more of a land track than a just off the coast track.... That's good news by the way for us down stream! More chance of it flattening the pattern if it heads out off the coast.
  15. Decent UKMO at 144, nice sharpening of the trough near Greenland, heights trying to build to the N or the UK.
