Well if you’ve all got rain what hopenhabe I got.
In a word... NONE! I’ve got a bit of elevation as well, but no help whatsoever. I’m about 0.8c colder than my old town however

My WXSIM forecast went for 7mm of rain here from yesterday's cold front, and I recorded 7.4mm. Quite pleased with that error margin.
How much snow is it showing for tonight

looking at the radar the SE look like timing this just right.... the showers/more organised area of ppn will arrive as the temps start nose diving into the late afternoon early evening! I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad

Now watch the Welsh mountains zapp the energy out of those showers, that's how it usually plays out when we have a cold NW wind blowing in showers.
That should band together later and bring a more organised area of ppn. what it falls as is another matter... you'll need elevation I'd suggest..

Very happy with the overnight runs.
GFS is a great run especially later on. Who’s got the mental capacity to chase this down
UKMO looks good to me, the mild blip is a very short lived one and then we are straight back into a very cold N’Westerly. D6 holds promise going forward
ECM is much better, but that wasn’t hard! it still looks out of kilter though to me towards the end. I Need to see the graph first. But 168 looks full of promise
all in all a good start today

We're not that popular.
Looks like it's just showing who's on the site instead of who's viewing the thread like it usually does.
7.6°C now. Going down, slowly. ⬇

I now feel the need to go looking for individual members to see synoptically how those clusters keep the cold...

That cold cluster this weekend has caught my attention..
I was thinking the same, could we see a surprise in the morning for the weekend? Hard to see how now, but that’s quite a cluster

True to an extent. It gives a good idea of the general areas at risk but you have to ignore the exact detail.

Massive downgrade for central and east midlands°!!
I would say the time has come to ignore these, look up at the sky and see what falls the nature of showers is they won’t be modelled well.
