  1. Still raining with a light south easterly, 12.5c. So dull & cold I just want it to get dark now.
  2. Dull, damp, overcast and very grey with low vis. Light rain but no wind. Temp 11.9c and not forecast to get much higher. Lovely.
  3. Heavy and persistant rain all day apart from a brief respite around lunchtime. So much surface water and run-off down the chevin it was actually pouring through a dry stone wall like a waterfall! Low vis as well as the cloudbase decended over LBA and the max today has only been 15c in a gusty, cold northeasterly.
  4. Very heavy continuous rain since 8am although it has now eased off a bit. 14.4c in a moderate North Easterly. Isn't it supposed to be 'high summer' next week.
  5. A dry, mild and overcast start after heavy overnight rain. 15c in a light south easterly.
  6. Mostly sunny here in Leeds after rain overnight (not forecast by ukmo again!). 14c with a light southerly. Will it last.......
  7. The rain from the west has finally arrived although it looks like it should be short lived. Temp only 13.2c with a chilly, blustery westerly.
  8. Early sunny spells have now given way to mostly cloudy conditions with a blustery westerly wind. Overnight low was 9.1c, currently 10.5c. Dry at present however on 'rain today' there is quite a lot of precipitation over Lancashire heading this way however it does look to be stalling and fragmenting as it reaches the pennines. I hope it does because I've got some washing to put out!
  9. The day started off mostly cloudy with the odd sunny spell and a light southerly. By late morning there was more in the way of sun but this soon gave way to heavy and slow moving showers with an almost monumental downpour around 14.30 with hail and a gusty SW wind. Heavy showers continued into the evening but they have mostly cleared away to the west now. A max today of 18c which occured at 11am.
  10. Overcast, heavy rain, light southerly. Temp 13c. Third day on the trot that the ukmo have got the forecast completely wrong.
  11. It has brightened up considerably in the last couple of hours or so, now bright and breezy from the NW. Sunny spells upping the temp to 15.1c However there are some very ominous looking clouds towards Ilkley moor.
  12. A dull damp start with light rain and limited visibility. A light NW wind. However a big improvement is forecast Sorry forgot to mention the temp at 9.8c
  13. Moderate rain and the wind has picked up, quite a gusty westerly. Still only 11c, another very poor day.
  14. Another dire day with relentless rain however it has become a touch lighter in the last hour or so. The ground is absolutley saturated with lots of standing water on hard surfaces. A light NW wind and 11c.
  15. Cloudy and wet for most of the day here in Leeds with a max of 13.5 in a light southerly. The sun briefly came out at teatime for about 30 secs! Currently 12.3 with some very heavy showers passing through.
  16. I remember a days fishing on a blustery, wet day in June 2000 where it 'only' reached 17c thinking what a poor day! I'd gladly take 17c now!
  17. Overcast, cold, grey November type morning. Currently 9.8c after an overnight low of 8.1c.
  18. Some brighter spells here now due to the cloud thinning & breaking, wind is a light SE. Feels much better than this morning even though it's only 12c!
  19. Overcast with drizzle but no wind and currently only 7.5c. Not what was forecast for here this morning
