  1. A mostly sunny day with a moderate northerly and a high of 3.9c.
  2. Blizzard like conditions late evening continued into the early hours dumping another 4-6in of snow. Overnight low was -1.1c. Currently 0.2c with mostly clear skies giving some good sunny spells. Still feeling bitterly cold though in a light westerly. Approx 8-12in of lying snow with not much of a thaw so far.
  3. Another grey sub zero day with a 'high' of -0.6c and still a good snow cover. There were some v.light snow showers around the middle of the day. The wind has now picked up due to the incoming front and it feels bitterly cold.
  4. Overcast with a light south easterly. -0.7c and still about 3in of lying snow.
  5. Another overcast, sub zero day with a 'high' of -1c. There's approx 3" of lying snow.
  6. An overcast day with occasional light flurries mainly this afternoon. Another sub zero day with a 'high' of -1.9c. Currently -2.2c with light snow falling and settling. Feeling bitterly cold in a light south easterly.
  7. I'd say that our summers are changing more than our winters if the last 6 are anything to go by.
  8. An overcast start with a very hard frost after an overnight low on -4.1c. Variable amounts of cloud during the day with some good sunny spells from late morning until early afternoon. The wind has been virtually calm all day with a 'high' of -2.4c. Feeling bitterly cold.
  9. Overcast with occasional light snow until lunchtime when the sky began to clear from the north east resulting in a mostly sunny and clear afternoon with a max of 0.9c. This melted some of the lying snow. Currently -0.5c with mostly clear skies and feeling bitterly cold.
  10. Light snow here this evening, not a big fan though as I saw (and shovelled!) enough of it as a kid. It can stay in the arctic for me where it belongs! Roll on spring!
  11. Continuous overnight light rain/drizzle leading to a very wet start to the day. Currently 8.8c in light rain with a light/moderate westerly.
  12. Looks like it's new year same old... 3.9c in moderate rain. Lots of surface water and run off on the drive into work.
  13. Another very wet and dull day after a brief dryer spell overnight allowing things to dry out a little. Currently 8.8c with moderate rain in a light westerly however it was gusting up to 35kts earlier. Could do with no rain for a couple of weeks to let the garage and garden dry out!
  14. Very dull, damp and misty with light drizzle. 6c in a light easterly.
