  1. A day of sunshine and heavy showers pushed along by a moderate westerly with a max of 16.6c.
  2. A mostly dry day with sunny spells and a blustery westerly until around an hour ago when we had a very heavy shower with lots more to come showing on the radar. Another cool day with a max of 15.8c. Still it's double figures!
  3. A mostly dull and damp day with only the odd sunny spell and a blustery westerly. Currently only 12.6c which is pathetic for a June afternoon and unfortunately very reminicent of June 2012.
  4. Both the BBC and Met Office have temps dropping during the day tomorrow for some parts of the NW!
  5. A very dull and overcast day with occasional drizzle although the evening has brightened up a little. Feeling cool with a max of 16.9c.
  6. Very dull and overcast, 12c in light rain (yes really!).
  7. Another lovely day across west yorkshire with almost unbroken sunshine, a light easterly and a max of 20.9c. Nature though is still a month or so behind with some neighbours daffs & tulips only just finishing and some trees in the local park still not in full leaf. The big old hydrenga in my garden looks more like mid-April and will be very late this year.
  8. Very dull and grey all day even 70 miles from the North sea coast. I see most of NW europe is currently in the mid 20's while it's mid teens for most of blighty!
  9. Mostly clear with a light westerly after an overnight low of 10.9.
  10. The last couple of days here have been absolutely foul. Mist, low cloud, continuous rain and a cold northerly with temps barely reaching double figures. I've just watched the local forecast for today, it's still raining right now but they do promise an improvement as the day progresses and apparantly 15c at this time of year is now 'mild'. I think this summer will be poor again, just the odd reasonable day here and there but I hope I'm wrong!
  11. Cloudy with heavy showers and feeling cold. Looking very autumnal too with many leaves and small branches stripped from trees in an almost gale force northerly.
  12. Heavy showers and brief sunny intervals with a chilly northerly. Well below average for May 1971-2000 but probably an above average late May day for the 2011-2040 period!
  13. Any early brightness was quickly replaced by cloud and rain from the north. Feeling very cold with a significant wind chill for (allegedly) May.
  14. Overcast conditions clearing to sunny spells and light winds after an overnight low of 3.9c.
  15. An abysmal day with light rain and a cold north westerly. Some very low temps currently in the North of England with my nearest met office station Bingley reporting just 4.3c at 11am.
  16. Torrential rain and hail in a gusty westerly. 4.8c.
  17. Cloudy but dry so far with a light/moderate westerly. Temp is a whopping 9.9c.
  18. Overcast with the odd spot of rain and a cold south westerly. Temp is 8.4c after an overnight low of 5.9c. I'm sure things will improve once we get to March/April!!!!
  19. Overcast and dull with light rain in a moderate westerly. Temp is only 9.4c. Not bad for a mid-February-type day.
  20. Apart from a few glimpses of the sun this morning it has been dull and cloudy day with even a few spots of rain around 1430 and a max of only15.6c in a light/moderate westerly. All in all a rather disappointing after all the hype about this weekend.
