    Heavy snow from dawn with blizzard like conditions causing severe disruption to travel. The snow cleared by late morning giving way to mostly sunny skies and a massive thaw. Todays max only 6.3c in a light s/westerly.

    Mostly cloudy to start but good sunny spells developing from mid morning onwards. However the ever present westerly breeze unfortunately took the edge off the 19.6c that was reached and it did feel chilly out of the sun.
