If only this gfs 18Z came to fruition with other models coming on board. I hope mogreps still like this idea. Forget this week, next weekend could be incredible going by this run. It all starts early too by 120hr. However ecm showed belting north easterlies for this week only for the low to sit on top of us... We just need that shortwave that sits over scotland early on to drop south or dissapate as per the 18z gfs and then its game on! Please this time, please... something special. Needs to be, has to be right!? Or the hangover of overnight runs tomorrow morning...?

Please dont give me that its only nov stuff. Every year that is said and then before we know it, were in feb and still... Always works when the charts show mild weather, never any spoilers etc then. Incredibly the strong wind has just changed from a south westerly round to a north westerly, just like that! Even though the front hadn't moved through yet. Anyone know how that is? The isotherm line must be moving faster toward the est coast in the end than we first thought.
