Am i the only one a little underwhelmed by the ecm. Been here so many times before. I see this as a backtrack. Look at greenland, the vortex and jet powering over the high. We do not want to see the high dropping south as shown. That high is trying really hard to make inroads towards the uk. We could get something noteworth or a dry notherly due to the highs influence. The latest meto update looks poor to me if you compare it to cold spells in the past. Their mega models may show something different to what we see indeed hence the high dropping and no real heights over greenland! Exciting but again, been here before to see it all fall apart.

a bit poor all this at the moment isnt it really. nothing i see to get overly excited about like 2010 13 n 18. must be uppers not quite cold enough for heavy shower development.
