    Crazy sittingbourne is heavy but gillingham still shows light. Off to sleep work in the morn. Fingers crossed for a white out over night an a snow day! I get paid tomorrow as well so be nice to spend the day with the wife!

    I think the middle part of this week is going to be a wash out. Start watching next weekend. Very interesting on the models.

    BBC and METO now showing snow in Medway and Kent heavy from Friday night into Saturday. Very FI at the moment but who knows.

    BBC have gone for heavy snow overnight in my area, first time they have actually predicted snow for Gillingham since the event was forecast. I am no expert and cannot give you as much detail as such venerable members as Mr. Pike but my knowledge indicates that once you get a big drop of the white stuff it can screw the models, the snow keeps temps low and this especailly in Kent can pull in more from the sea. I still don't 'expect' a major snowfall but the ingredients are starting to appear in the bowl.

    I have 5 a side tonight, last time we played in the snow I nigh on snapped my leg in two. Mind you, I do love snow...

    One single dot just landed on my window in gillingham. As such I will wear my daily mail sponsored "I survived the January 2013 blizzards" t shirt tomorrow!

    I honestly think this event will end up being nothing. There is just not enough ppn coming into our area when the temps are low and then the ei be plenty when temps raise. It is a vicious circle. However I don't think anyone really knows at this moment. The back end of the week could surprise us.

    Still not a flake in Gillingham. Got a feeling we will see nothing till the back end of the week but who knows. FI is about 1 hour away at the moment it seems!

    Well I am all out of ideas. I have sorted my work clothes for the week. Fueled up the car and made me lunch for tomorrow. Everything I would do if there was no chance of a snow day has been done. I refuse to curse it by assuming I will be off!!

    Just started here in gillingham. Light flakes in the wind. Feels like a big temperature drop in the last hour. Thank god I fixed my car heater yesterday!
