    METO will forecast snow for Friday tomorrow I think.

    All from 12Z + 60 +66 +72 +78! +84 This continues on a similar vein till +135 where it blows away across the UK.

    12Z seems to be showing an upgrade in snow risk for Kent over Thursday night into Friday and then onto the weekend. I think people should avoid going down to the mod thread, most of the people WUMing about the snow not coming DONT live in Kent or SE! We are still in with a good chance, only +60 now still showing snow.

    Just had a real good look at the 06Z. Snow risk on the whole seems lower for the coming days for us in Kent however the indications are stronger (some at 100%!) for the time it will be falling!

    This event is VERY regional. The mod thread is people from all over the place, stick in here, listen to JP and Coast and we can get a better picture as the runs come out today.

    The problem down there in the model thread is that is is national. The coming 'event' should it be such looks to be locked to the South east and is not showing up as an important thing on the national spectrum. Thats why I hang around here, much more in depth for where I live as opposed to - 'no real snow for most of the country' posts down in the model thread.

    I need to go over the models today, I want a last blast but I think we could end up with a damp squib! A very cold squib but not the snowmageddon I think we all want!

    GFS looking good still, there has been some agreement in the last hours between METO GFS and ECM have all got very similar paterns developing. I might go away till Sunday and hope this remains the case on the 0z Sunday night..

    This winter all in all has been very poor snow wise for me in Gillingham. Nothing more than a coating has fallen. Temps have not been great and a lot of nasty rain. Heres hoping the month goes out with a bang.
