It's a miracle actual snow just fell from the sky. Now stopped for about 10 mins it was snow temp has dropped also to 1c.

Met app says it's currently snowing outside I can tell you now it's good old rain. Friday not looking either now this has been the winter of torment for snow lovers.

Simple word to explain the models cold but bone dry unless you live in Scotland or the far east coast might get a shower but even that looks unlikely. A true wishbone effect going on. All that talk of get the cold in and the snow will follow is just a myth. As the current setup demonstrates although with the clear skies some very harsh and hopefully air frosts are on offer so not all bad. It's like mission impossible for low level snow this winter. The PV has been utterly dominate and set up two base camps in Greenland and the US East coast. Let's hope for better next winter.

I know but even an hour ago it had the peak district down for heavy snow and all they had is rain and sleet at best. I hope you guys get some be such a waste if no one gets any.

Guys we also had hope and weather warnings the big issue is the front brings much warmer temps and dps. And the cold didnt undercut and mix the milder air out. Even the Peak district had no snow and they are significantly higher up than the SE. So take my advice and get some sleep because you will be left disapointed. I hope i am wrong and you get better luck. So gd luck guys but i cant see it infact look at your dps its not even marginal.

Gutted absolute rainfest, same here forecast all rain now no chance of it changing to snow later temps to warm and that cold air has made like a banana and split. BBC are a joke at less than 24 hours and they got it completely wrong. Bring on Spring.

I would be very sceptical of any snow charts the gfs shows. Today is a perfect example even high ground not seeing much snow. Just an absolute rainfest
