Hmmmm. I'm hoping something more comes of this.... we have about 1cm.. and light grauple snow..... not exactly blizzards lol. -

What worries me from a IMBY perspective is the wests ability to completely miss gloucester. Like the front today.. It broke up and "skirted" here while it then re-builds to my east. I really hope tomorrow isnt the same with heavy to my north, south, east and west with this strange block that seems to defend gloucester from the western attacks..

Latest GFS is pointing to snow all the way out to Thursday with brief dry periods in - between. possibly even further out. As ive said before, I would be shocked if this cold weather didnt last till Mid feb.

I agree, This whole "Washing it away " is rubbish. Considering the NAE and GFS are still disagreeing as to where the heavy PPn / snow will be on Fri/Sat.. How can we even look at what happens next week. /Sigh

Thats encouraging.. I mainly want snow from this small band today because a work colleague said he would eat his socks if it snowed.

Thats a nice, good update from the metoffice i think ( For everyone! ) Now i just need that red area 50miles east hehehe . I promise not to be greedy! GOOD LUCK ALL! This is a great update. 15:30 GFS will be VERY interesting

Im begging that these updates dont shift it more west. I dont think Glos will do well at all ( if any ) if it goes any further west. COME ON!!! GFS seems consistent . So fingers crossed.

Going by every other model apart from the GFS then i think it will be a while away yet. Possibly mid Feb
