You will still burn through haze / clouds! careful.... Still early and some good CU building in places now. I suspect if nothing happens by 18:00 then nothing will as its a little on the marginal side.. If we do get good ignition then with the Cape & Lifted that is about then we may end up with a good storm or two.. Not sure what the CIN is like today ( havent looked ) but it doesnt 'feel' very capped compared to normal storm days.

PPN showing something later and with that kinda cape something could really pop up. Estofex show a good risk in the same areas so im sure someone will be happy! Very much a central / eastern event ( if any )

Tbh, I trust estofex a lot. Every year they are almost spot on every time. ( Sometimes can be hit and miss regarding UK potential ) but for the rest of euro, its normally very accurate. If they don't have a warning for us ( L1 or higher ) then I pretty much scrub any chances of a good storm. That being said, We do have a warm pool of air moving in so I wouldn't be shocked if something did kick off in the south and southeast, I cant see any obvious convergence so I suspect it would be surface based rubbish. But who knows.

Looks good, However surely the GFS and ECM should at least START with the same values? ( Or extremely close together.. ) Seems like the GFS is just milder because it wants to be from the word go? Or am I missings omething?

Well guys.. Based on latest ECM, I would suggest you all ( in the SW ) get some snow shovels for the easter weekend lol. I however, will just get my BBQ going. I dont think the snow will ever reach here again.. Its either too far north or too far south.. Middle earth it seems in Glos. Obviously, It could all change by next weekend, however this cold doesnt look like its going anywhere anytime soon so you guys may get a nice amount of snow next week.. Fingers crossed aye!

Hey all, Had some very heavy snowfall here. On top of dry stuff I have about 2cm's... On the grass. It has only just started to settle so its a slushy 50/50 affair. The snowfall has pretty much stopped here now. Annoyingly, Its gone north and doesnt look like it will pivot and move south again. On the hills here it looks white, So probably a good few inches there. Anyway, Glad we got some, Shame its stopped.
