Just down the road from you would say I have the same amount as you. Hopefully not too Far East for the streamer later tonight.
-
It hit me had an small burst of snow from it now got at least an inch and half of snow need more lol
-
No why has it now gone more east just as that massive blob over tonbridge wells was heading towards me. Now had heavy snow pass to my south and looks like this is going to my north lol ??
-
@Steve Murr as I’m smack bang in the middle of the convergence how much snow should I expect and when does the convergence line move away from my area??
-
Steve hope the wind direction is right as I’m wanting a snow day tomorrow lol. Will need at least 10cm for that to happen XD
-
Have noticed over the last half hour that the showers are now forming bands rather than a straight line. Hopefully theses bands can become heavier so they then give everyone a good covering
-
I think I need an more northerly component to the showers to get them to my location the streamer looks like it might just be too far north ;( ;(
-
@Steve Murr what’s your opinion of the 120fax all snow for us as the front is occluded?

Model output discussion - the beast arrives

Gfs started with the low further south of then the previous run but then does what it always does when it loses the plot and overdeepens the low and sends it into island. Edit. 120ukmo fax looks good with the front occluded all the way out past the southeast corner which means all snow- 1,198 replies

Yes lol but they should really be hopeing it goes south as it then means the cold spell will be lasting a lot longer. Also we haven’t had snow for such a long time and is allot easier for them to get it -

Right just going to only look at the models in the short range as this low on Friday is doing my head in. I hope it does because of the ssw that the modes will dramatically change its track as it needs to for us to keep our snow for any amount of time. -

@Steve Murr would pert 16 in the gfses be the most likely track for this low. If it is then my god we would be needing the army in the south east -
