    this is getting really bad here now over an hour of heavy snow with 12cm level and dfifts starting to pile up against the walls

    BANG on target for this area,further west and it starts to get borderline,i wouldnt want to be west of say wigan etc.

    LOL James you will get plastered unless the band swings east,north east very quickly. The bbc are the best in real time you my firend will be buried come morning imo ps its gone a bit poor again nothing sice 12.15 hows the radar old beann

    Not the one i watched with tomasz he showed snow showers into the east of our region and plenty more until it moves away after midnight james i think u are going to get absolutely plastered this evening

    Another decent shower here topping up the previous overnight snow showers.currently about 8cm. Have to say there is indeed a slight thaw seeting in between the showers but i emphasise slight and the cover is very good in the main. wrt tonight its watching the radar closely but i reckon james etc could see another 10 com overnight so that could be getting on for 20 cm up the road or 6 inches level snow possibly a foot in the drifts

    pretty disappointing morning if i were to be honest we had one heavy shower for 10mins but pretty much nothing apart from that

    Up to 8 approaching 9cm here now my god and more to come tonight. should stay as snow here james i think the 600 to 800ft will more than leave it on the safe side of marginal.

    its getting a tad annoying now all these showers are missing me lol. As for tonight i dont know i guess snow but temps awill incrase abit overnight.By the time the front clears it will be back below zero. hi james very frustrating for the last couple of hoyrs are we just being unlucky or is it going a bit pear shaped for us at the moment?

    only had a 5min shower in the last 2 hours or so. Some places seeing heavy showers im hoping some can hit this area

    lol its getting a tad frustrating now that gap seems to just envelop this area and there are plenty of showers south and north of here i think,c'mon showers get moving in this direction now

    rain clouds are usually from the west,from the east its normally snow. its a tale of a split really in the NW of England,here just east of manchester its pretty good,away towards the wirall and blackpool etc its a different ballgame being a snowfan i would HATE to live there to be honest

    just looked at the radar and there is indeed quite a hole in the precipitation now,seems like a couple of hours away from any more showers here.

    Good luck guys fingers crossed for plenty of snow for Ireland! Over here just NE of manchester we have 7cm and 8 or 9cm drifts,im so happy

    Seems to have cleared up for now with a bit of a hole developing on the radar. Might have to wait an hour or so for more showers.
