    The welcome rain as reached South Yorkshire, not heavy but still nice to see.

    Certainly does, cloudy, wet at times and very blustery today which as taken edge off warmish temperatures. Last weeks heatwave seems like a distant memory, next couple of days at least look like being more autumnal too.

    The heatwave seems like a distant memory now. Not seen sun since Wednesday and it's cloudy cool and raining right now here in South Yorkshire. Not complaining like, especially with drought conditions.

    We had Snow on a few occasions in May here in South Yorkshire in 1970s, mostly settling on hills around Sheffield, I remember Concord Park having a few cms one afternoon.

    Temperatures aren't that high but it feels very warm sat in sun if you can keep out of wind. Burnt down one side of my leg sat in garden this afternoon.

    Recipe for April Showers. Horrible if an heavy shower comes along but can feel pleasant in any prolonged sunshine.

    Depends on the location because 30cm of Snow is expected on hills of Scotland this week.

    Nice for sitting in beer garden but unpleasant for working in, 24'c my preferred maximum temperature when working.

    First bit of settling snow since end of November here.

    Being Hampshire location I wouldn't expect to see much if any snow on a Northerly at any time of year, never mind Spring. We did quite well up here in Yorkshire yesterday, Snow on and off all day with temperatures not that much above freezing. Had another dusting overnight as well.

    Once we hit end of March the sun soon melts any snow when it comes out. Nearly gone already here.

    Had a good covering of Snow earlier but it soon melts in this sun that's out now. Always case once we reach end of March.

    Lots of settling snow around Yorkshire this morning.

    Turning cold across Yorkshire now with snow being reported in a few locations. Not expecting much though nice to see it falling. Some sharp frost's expected over next couple of nights which gardens need to be beware of.

    Just rain here at moment. I don't expect to see any snow settling on roads and pavements after all the prolonged sunshine we've had lately heating things up. Might see some on lawns/grass, hedges, trees etc.

    Lovely morning here in South Yorkshire now the low cloud as broken. Still looking forward to seeing a bit of snow later this week though.

    Still over a week away them charts so might be completely different come then. I'm still putting my sun cream on standby.

    I always look to North for anything wintry once we get to end of March, Europe is starting to warm but the polar air likes to spread South, especially once we hit April. An Easterly could bring Spring like conditions in sunshine away from east coast.

    Nice to see the sun out this morning after having a few days of dull, cloudy, wet conditions. Still a bit chilly but it should feel a little warmer in sunshine and out of wind later this morning.

    Easterly or not once you get to March we're not guaranteed any serious cold weather, the sun is getting stronger now and it could give us some pleasant weather away from chilly East coast. As we head towards April I always look to North for any wintry weather.
