    The GFS picked up a trend in the last few runs and is sticking to it's guns, the model tends to do this more often than not and in recent times has been spot on. This is not a downgrade just merely a change still gonna be very cold but not the snowmagedon that was predicted for Eastern areas over the last few days. That's why when people have been saying this Easterly is nailed no way not at 120hrs, 120+ hrs in my eyes is FI in these situations!!

    Heavy Snow in Penicuik roads turning White, I make that 4 days falling snow with 5 days lying! Not at bad start to December.

    Big difference in the charts from last night, they could all change yet again, all in the air at present although GFS has a habit of picking up trends!!

    Same thing happened with the current cold snap, models should a great easterly run after run then everything moved North and here we go again, could end up a unexciting Northerly with coastal showers!

    5c in Edinburgh so zero chance of snow here, not that I was expecting any! Just need to be patient and hope the Easterly delivers next week.

    Hi I am a new member of the forum, I hope all are well. A question for Steve Murr are we looking at a NE/E winds towards the weekend or more of a Northerly, here in SE Scotland in the central belt we need more of a NE feed for showers to come inland?
