  1. Not to sure where windy .com get there snow coverage from but they have Southern Dorset covered in snow from 9am Tuesday. Also it seems dewpoints become much better from 1am tonight. Update: Ah i see you can switch models! Thats really impressive
  2. Thought i would atcually change my display name to new website which will be coming in a year or so and actually put a profile pic up. Old Profile name: Rapodo Lets hope we see some grains down here at least!
  3. Very poor really should have been lower this side of things by now! Considering the warmer air was meant to hang on for longer in the South East.
  4. Is that a steamer trying to up north of IOW? Close I must say seems to come from nowhere.
  5. I think the hi res are undergoing things, take ireland as an example at the moment. You can see streamers setting up much more vigorous than was suggested.
  6. You can see streamers are slowly setting up already these will increase further from Monday into Tuesday. We were very unlucky last night. Precip pushed in way further west. If the cold had undercut quick enough it would of been snow.
  7. For now but the undercut is ahead of expected timings and alot more precip than expected this far west.
  8. Winds now turning watch for snow to spread further south shortly. Definitely surprises coming tonight.
  9. This is going to be really close tonight anywhere from Poole east and north Dorset. To me it looks like the undercut is happening quicker. Really interested to see what happens the moment the winds switch north east at 12pm.
  10. It was clear to see from the get go it was far more west and timing was wrong when precip came in. Clear to see a quicker undercut is happening too. Watch what happens the moment those winds turn to the north. Snow line will drop further South.
  11. Winds will change around 12pm that's when to really keep an eye on things. If winds change sooner then watch this space could be unexpected surprises happening tonight.
  12. I would say the cold is undercutting quicker than forecast tonight. Wouldn't even be surprised if IOW actually get something early hours. It's going to be close I feel for few areas in North and east Dorset.
  13. Yes and that is likely to drop south. I think there are a few actually in the game tonight especially north Dorset. Its turning to snow quicker in many areas far sooner than forecast.
  14. Over the week. Tomorrow onwards definitely Tuesday plenty cold enough for snow anywhere. Your better off in an eastily especially if it swings slight south eastily. Your more likely to get a streamer chance should one set up. See how it pans out next few days. Just the beginning judging by tonight's runs.
  15. Yeah you will. I favour IOW more than here at the moment. Further east you are the better. You also got more chance of a streamer setting up.
  16. I actually think you got very good chances over the next couple of days!
  17. I can see east and North Dorset getting some snow of this tonight now. Wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact looking at the westward progression that's showing tonight and the fact that wind will be picking up I can see some surprises heading much further west than precip models are showing this week. I'm confident were see something at some stage now.
  18. Yes that's quite possible for sure! Already signs its turning to snow quite low down the country already.
  19. Yes it's far more west and far more precip attached. It's a long way out from what was expected and timings are wrong too.
  20. I'm very encouraged this evening looking at the westward progression of that low tonight. We could get some surprises this week for sure. Feels very cold out there this evening already.
  21. Not to sure how many of you have spotted just how far west this precip is in relation to predicted this evening. It's a huge swing west. Already raining here in Poole wasn't forecast this early at all. Just goes to show never trust precip charts this week!
  22. Rain now here in Poole. It's way early and further west by far. Never trust precip charts this week!
