To be fair, Angie said "Risk of persistent snow in South and East "
Was that for friday or fri evening as graphics showed mostly dry until evening. Maybe the one I watched was old but video started first thing today. Was via phone.

Don’t go to bed MS. Looks like a streamer forming and heading our way.

Hope so from all above and didn’t think it included Ulster.

Well they are seeing a front meeting polar air so of course it will turn to snow.
We know it’s going to turn to snow the issue is if it will reach Northern Ireland though.

Yeah what r they seeing that we don’t!
Does that include Ulster though in their warning

Interesting. They seemed convinced so we will see what meto say for north. They didn’t seem so sure earlier. Hopefully new info has brought on this warning.

They've not updated since 12pm though and will update again at 12am.
These streamers are so dependent on wind direction it's unreal.
10 miles South of me is gettin mullered.
Hopefully better for us in the morn MS as wind supposed to be direct easterly. As for for fri low it will be nowcasting I think. It will either be great or a bust but I’m not hopeful at all. As for the streamer it sure is a bummer. Just missing me by a couple of miles. ??

If it's only showing South East then very good chance won't make it above border and miss north altogether you want to see it reach north coast like it showed at 6pm.
No it showed it getting half way over north but stayed in se most of time. But of course in could change for worse or better.

Winds have shifted more NE than E so North Coast and South Down favoured, central parts have to hope for Easterly again.
Huge black clouds to the South of me. Very frustrating.
Hope I never hear the words beast from the east again. Utter tosh!! And these warnings as iv said all winter for the east have been horrific. Friday looks a no go going by bbc weather now. Roll on spring. ?

Looks good to me in NE

So In a nutshell nobody as a clue about Friday.

3 different forecasts for fri. Bbc video heavy snow , meto text dry and met eireann graffic for the north has rain!’ I mean seriously. It’s ridiculous forecasting this close

Unbelievable it’s just stopping before the north of thsts the case. Iv had no luck this year at all.

And I'm back in the room...
Apparently there is heavy snow in Carryduff, maybe 3 cm from that localised line of streamers moving up the M1.
Friday looks a bust I'm afraid but you never know.
Strange meto have warning out for heavy snow parts of NI
-
So is Friday a bust for the north ? In work so can’t check anything. I see met office still have s warning but I take it they are in process of removing it.

Well I just watched bbc national news weather there now and it hardly had the low or snow showing even in the Republic of Ireland. No snow at all for here so god knows what’s happening. The forecasts are so wide of the mark from one another it’s mad.I find the bbc weather completely inaccurate to be fair. Least it’s snowing here heavy now
