I'm still not happy with output Pom. I think we will miss the worst of it. Will be colder but not overly cold and I think it's rain for us and snow for most of everybody else. Just didn't get the luck on this one.

Us in the east have had barely any snow last two years Ronan while u got a good bit bit last two years. !! Surely our turn. Long wAy to go though! But positive. Big gfs coming up! Will it backtrack or stick to its guns!! Countdown begins!!

aye. Important to remember that when the model thread throw their toys out of the pram it generally is in respect to what the weather is showing for the south. Could be completely different for us being a good bit further north, But I still don't see much snow for us yet im afraid

Its went the way I thought it would days ago even during the wonder charts im afraid!! cannot see any snow away from hills. Hopefully something better will come along soon

Totally agree. It was always in the back of my head that this could very easily happen. If it keeps backtracking we could get nout! Maybe tomorrow it will start swing the other way again

Can you not have an opinion on here without being classified as negative. All I stated was that I did not buy into this cold spell yet solely because we have been burned so many times before! just because I wasn't ramping up the snow and cold chances to be prolonged doesn't mean I cannot post! (or should I say I can post if its in the negative model thread as you put it). If you go back through my posts I think u will find that I was stating that I hope things would change and that wanted snow as much as anybody! However if you kindly show where its states that I am not allowed an opinion positive or negative on this forum I will certainly stop asap. If not I will continue to post as I see fit in one opinion or the other and try to be balanced overall in what I think may happen. Ps Forum team if I am too negative and cannot post an opinion on here and only on the model thread as so brilliantly put above by Booferking I will surely abide by the rules of this forum. And I hope we all get snow and the models show a deep freeze next week for all concerned. Models to flip tonight. Its a cert there will be no mild! That positive enough Booferking!

Thank god I didn't let myself believe the models. Its always the way. Think next week is shaping up to a non event and I for one aint surprised. And don't expect the models to start up-grading. They wont!

Exactly as iv been saying last two days Ronan. This was never never a done deal. Make or break time tomorrow. And I'm not hopeful. This is going the way of the pear shape. Once again.

I hardly ever read the long range met office updates anymore Wegaz. I used to and they annoyed the hell out of me as they changed daily so I stopped reading them. Just read their forecast on the regional thread. Still a long way to go in this projected Cold spell though. Nothing definite yet in my eyes

I'm just hoping for once that we all get lucky and get the snow! ECM huge coming up. Any backtrack on it and I think we are on the slippery slope. I have my doubts!

Defo colder for 4-5 days ronan but not sure there will be much snow. To early to tell. I'm not convinced just yet. Still a few days before the reliable in my eyes on the severity of this. My bet is for a small cold snap but mostly dry bar favoured spots

Just updated and is slightly better but not great. Long way to get an outcome on duration of cold I think
