    O I know MS. No doubt it's getting colder I just think snow and duration will disappoint many. But I would love to be wrong. I love snow as much as any in here! So fingers crossed

    As I said yest morn I'm still not one bit convinced. Yes it may get colder with a Wee bit of snow but people hoping for copious amounts of snow and prolonged cold may be very disappointed feel. These charts have and could flick to something totally different in a day or two. Hope I'm wrong but really not convinced yet.

    God mr murr has had another go at GP tonight! Oooo the venom of a snake comes to mind. Ever since mr murr's bold prediction a couple of days ago that failed he's turned a bit tetchy/combative with all his posts. Quite bizzare really!

    We are on the warm side of the so called colder wether. East England coldest. We will see very little snow if anything from that and will be cold for a day or two before becoming average again and the usual cold rain and wind. Fair play to met office. They have nailed there winter outlook which didn't give much cold weather. Once again exacta weather going to look like plonkers!

    Pom I hope your right but I'm not convinced at all ref this cold weather. I really think this is going to be watered down to a damp squid!! I really hope I'm wrong but we have been here so many times! Just cane see much snow or cold !

    Ooooo. Toys out of the pram from Mr Murr in relation to a post GP issued... I think the poor models are getting to some!

    Yes certainly looks drier but I thought people wanted snow! Cold and dry doesn't sound like much snow to me guys. But yes we need drier weather as this flooding situation is getting worse.

    What a turnaround overnight! Awful models this morn for a cold spell ! Looking more like a brief cold shot! Kudos to meto. They never bought it. Very disappointing.

    Personally MS I think any cold for our wee country will come from the North possibly Northeast with the usual PM air in between. Could be wrong of course

    Strange one Weegaz. I cant see it snowing and settling much away from high ground. Its a bit of a wishy washey warning but at least its a chance !

    I think the met office update will change this morning from there positive trend for gold yest. Charts are awful this morn. Rain after rain and storm after storm ! Least it's cold rain. !!

    No power here in Northern Ireland! Torrential rain, roads flooded and 9 flights at Belfast international could not let passengers off planes due to strength of winds. Boats also cancelled and roads blocked with fallen trees. Frank has hit us good!!

    So the penny finally dropped on our Bara! Classic! Lights flickering away here st my folks house though they are 250 metres asl ! I'm half tanked but loving it. Roll on mid Jan! Still on course for my predicted cold stap! But it was a pure guess to be honest!

    He started off by saying " just a little rain outside which will soon end"! I mean did he look outside this evening! It was awful ! And the news covered floods in areas of the province! I mean I despair!

    I hope I don't offend anybody but I really cannot watch Bara Best doing the weather on newsline! What was the point of that forecast! Hardly a mention of storm Frank and what the outcome was likely to be! Basically quite windy and the odd puddle is what it came accross as! Ridiculous
